Who we are

This site is operated by ANIV AI TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to that company.

Files you check

The provenance checker reads files inside your browser. The file, its contents and its metadata are not sent to our servers or to any third party. The SHA-256 fingerprint shown in the report is computed on your device and is not stored by us.

If you follow our link to Google's SynthID Detector or the Gemini app, the file you upload there is handled by Google under Google's own terms and privacy policy, not ours. Google states that its detector processes media in real time, deletes it after returning the result, and keeps a signature of the file for 24 hours to enforce usage quotas.

Information we collect

  1. Usage data. Pages visited, referring site and approximate region, collected through privacy-friendly analytics when enabled, to understand which guides are useful.
  2. Device information. Browser type and operating system, used to keep the site compatible.
  3. Cookies. A language preference cookie, plus a session cookie if you sign in to an account.
  4. Account information. If you create an account, your email address and name. Accounts are optional; the guide and the checker work without one.
  5. Messages. What you send to our support address.

How we use information

We use it to run and improve the site, keep it secure, answer your questions and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising profiles.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that host and operate the site (such as Cloudflare), under confidentiality obligations, or when the law requires it.

Retention and your rights

We keep account data while your account exists and delete it on request. You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information by writing to support@synthiddetector.app.

Changes

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of the page.
