Terms for using the SynthID Detector guide and the in-browser provenance checker.

Last updated: 2026-10-21

Acceptance

This site is operated by ANIV AI TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED ("we", "us"). By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Independence from Google

SynthID Detector at synthiddetector.app is an independent guide and checker. It is not provided, endorsed or reviewed by Google or Google DeepMind. SynthID, Gemini and related names are trademarks of Google LLC and are used here only to describe the technology. Google's own SynthID Detector at synthid.com is a separate service with its own terms.

What the checker tells you

The checker reports provenance metadata a file declares about itself. Metadata can be missing, stripped, edited or forged, and its absence proves nothing. The checker does not read the SynthID watermark. Results are information to weigh with other evidence, not a determination that content is or is not AI-generated, and must not be the sole basis for legal, journalistic, academic or moderation decisions.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to attack or overload the service, or to scrape it at a scale that degrades it for others. Do not use the information here to remove, evade or forge watermarks or Content Credentials.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. If you create one, keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used in breach of these terms.

Content and accuracy

We keep the guide accurate and dated, but Google and its partners change their products. The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
